Philosophy Doctor, Professor

Hrachik Mirzoyan was born in 1940.
He received his education at YSU Faculty of History (1958-1963).
He is Candidate of Philosophy, “Simeon Jughayetsi’s Philosophical Views”, 1967, YSU and Doctor of Philosophy, “The analysis of the Armenian philosophical thought in XVII century”, 1984, YSU.

In 1971 he was awarded the title of the Associate Professor at the Chair of the History of Philosophy, 1978- Professor at the same chair, 1998-2004 Dean of YSU Faculty of Philosophy, Sociology and Psychology, 2005-2009 Dean of YSU Faculty of Philosophy and Psychology. He delivers lectures in the area of History of Armenian Philosophy, Modern Times History of Philosophy. His academic interests’ area covers History of Armenian Philosophy and Culture.

He is fluent in Armenian and Russian languages, good in German, Deputy Head of 013 Specialized Council. Hrachik Mirzoyan is the bearer of ASSR Supreme Council Diploma YSU Two Gold Medals.
