YSU Council member

Vahagn Varagyan was born in 1985 in Shirak Marz, town of Artik. He finished Secondary school #2 in Artik with excellence.

In 2002-2008 he studied at YSU Faculty of Biology and graduated with diploma of excellence, was awarded master degree.

Beginning with 2008 he is a PhD student at YSU Faculty of Biology Chair of Ecology and Nature Protection. The research topic is headed “Self-recovery of grounds, polluted with heavy metals”.

In 2004-2008 he was YSU Faculty of Biology Student Council Chairman.
In 2004-2008 he was YSU Student Council Presidium member.

In 2006-2008 he was Chairman of YSU Student Council Commission on Internal Affairs.
Beginning with 2008 he is Member of CIS Student and Youth Organizations Coordinating Council.

In 2004-2008 he was YSU Faculty of Biology Academic Council member.
Beginning with 2006 he is YSU Council member.

Beginning with 2006 he is the Coordinator of Student Projects at YSU Student Affairs Department.

Beginning with 2007 he works as an assistant of the RA National Assembly Deputy on a voluntary basis.
He is married, has got no party affiliation.
