The holiday took its start from Yerablur.
On January 28 YSU Student Council initiated the visit to Yerablur, where our perished soldiers of the Artsakh Liberation are buried.
One of the participants of the procession, YSU Vice-rector Rouben Markosyan, congratulating everybody on this occasion, said: "When I learnt about this initiative, I welcomed it and decided to participate by all means. It is very important that our students pay tribute to the perished soldiers-liberators. Owing to these people we have strong Armenian Army today".
Students laid flowers on the monument, eternalizing the memory of perished soldiers-liberators. Then they visited the tombs of the Universitarian soldiers-liberators... Dushman Vardan, Yura from 26 and many others.
"The power of every nation and state is the Army. This is not just boys' holiday. Girls' mission is very important, too, as we future mothers, must educate our children with patriotic spirit fro them to become good individuals", - said YSU Faculty of Oriental Studies SC Chairman Anahit Nalbandyan.
Then students lit candles in the church and leaved Yerablur to continue the holiday.
"This holiday is as important for us as September 21 - the Day of Independence, is. The statehood maintaining depends on the Armed Forces. Unfortunately, not everybody came here today, but I believe the day will come when this holiday will be celebrated by everyone as his or her birthday is", - said YSU SC Chairman Tsolak Akopyan.
